ANCILLARY RANGE DUTIES
QUALIFICATION COURSE
This course is intended for any of the following:
1. Officers, Warrant Officers and NCO adult
instructors of the Army Cadet Force/Combined Cadet Force
( NOTE: ACF students must have attended the AIs Course at HQ CTC Frimley Park)
2. CCF SSIs.
3. Bona fide civilian instructors of school and college CCFs.
4. A maximum course loading of 15 students per
course is authorized.

All personnel must have completed Cadet Weapon Handling Tests
to the required standard within the past 6 months.

The Ancillary Range Duties - Qualification Course has been designed as a
1 day 'package'. Students who successfully complete this course will be
qualified to fulfil those duties when assisting the RCO.
On successful completion of the course, students will be awarded
the following Specialist Qualification:

COURSE AIM
To train officers, Warrant Officers and NCO Adult
Instructors of the Army Cadet Force/Combined Cadet Force in the duties associated
with the supervision of Cadets on a firing point, the supervision/control
of an ETR/CGR Console and the control of a Gallery/CGR Butt.
CADETS
ARE NOT TO BE USED IN A SUPERVISORY ROLE DURING THE CONDUCT OF RANGEWORK
